Buffalo Prize Scholarship
Watch for announcements regarding the Buffalo Prize Scholarship program.
The Buffalo Scholarship Prize will be awarded to a woman with a connection to Buffalo who is invested in creating change there. The scholarship will cover all of the students unmet need and additional expenses to attend the new MFA in Design for Social Innovation program at the School of Visual Arts in New York. The winner of the scholarship will commit to working in Buffalo upon graduation addressing urban revitalization and community development issues there.
To apply for the program applicants will need to submit the following to dsiinfo@sva.edu by June 15th:
- Current CV
- Contact Information
- Transcripts from undergraduate/graduate studies
- Portfolio or Case histories (see here for more details)
- FAFSA
- Answer the questions (1) what is your relationship with Buffalo and (2) why do you think you should receive the scholarship?
