Kenya-based Jacaranda Health has joined the Business Call to Action (BCtA) with a pledge to provide 50,250 low-income women and children with high-quality maternal and child health care at its maternity hospitals by the end of 2019. The company has also committed to open two more maternity hospitals in 2018 and pilot innovative healthcare delivery models in 25 public health facilities to reach 250,000 additional women and children.

More than 100 people gathered in Los Angeles on July 28 to hear from a panel of truly inspirational women on the importance and impact of positive role models in the world of sports. At the beautiful Fairmont Hotel in Santa Monica, the Women of FOX Sports partnered with the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media to host "A League of Their Own: Sports Inspiring Social Change."

UPS’s 14th annual Sustainability Report provides a comprehensive update on the company’s sustainability efforts, including an announcement that the company has achieved its goal of driving 1 billion miles in its alternative fuel and advanced technology fleet one year earlier than planned.

On August 3, the 10 finalists of the first Living Progress Challenge, will pitch their solutions in hopes of being selected as a winner. Winners will receive HPE support to build and deploy their digital solutions for social impact.

Diageo North America has once again been recognized by Diversity MBA’s prestigious “50 Out Front for Diversity Leadership” list of the best places in the country for women and diverse managers to work. This is the fifth consecutive year that Diversity MBA, a national leadership organization, has named Diageo to the list. Diageo was ranked 18th overall, and also identified as Best in Class for representation of women and people of color in the most senior leadership roles. Additionally, Diversity MBA selected three Diageo North America employees for its “Top 100 Under 50” list, which recognizes diverse executives and emerging leaders.
