Alcatel-Lucent Cycles for The Seeing Eye in Gran Fondo 2014

Alcatel-Lucent employees are participating this year in the Gran Fondo cycling race in New Jersey to champion The Seeing Eye. Co-Captains for this event are Steve Marino and Robert (Greg) Wolf! The team is 35 riders, comprised of current employees, retirees and other cyclist-friends and family who are committed to supporting the very impactful work of The Seeing Eye, and its mission to advance the independence and dignity of blind and visually impaired people through the use of Seeing Eye dogs.

Alcatel-Lucent USA has a large employee presence in Murray Hill, New Jersey and has been a proud corporate partner of The Seeing Eye since 2010 through the Alcatel-Lucent Foundation. Alcatel-Lucent encourages employee involvement in the community through volunteerism as part of Global Days of Caring, the Alcatel-Lucent annual global volunteering initiative. The Gran Fondo is one of the 2014 opportunities to support Global Days of Caring.

The Alcatel-Lucent Corporate riders are encouraging morale support as they make the 107 mile Gran Fondo ride! Please consider making a small donation via this page (every Euro/$$ counts for The Seeing Eye!) and /or, if you live locally to NJ, ‘come on out’ on Sunday, September 7th to cheer on the Alcatel-Lucent team! Thank you in advance for supporting Alcatel-Lucent 4 The Seeing Eye!
