As part of the second phase of its ecomagination Challenge, GE has invested in Project Frog, a start-up that designs and builds prefabricated sustainable buildings. The ecomagination Challenge, which launched its second phase in January, advances GE’s commitment to improve building energy efficiency through new technologies. GE's investment in the start-up by completing a Project Frog building at GE’s Crotonville Learning Center in Ossining, New York by the end of 2011.
