The 2019 IPCC report brought increased urgency showing that warming is likely to reach 1.5°C between 2030 and 2052 if it continues at the current rate. This report effectively changed how corporations were operating to reach climate goals. Climate leadership now means aiming for a global temperature increase of no more than 1.5°C, and companies are being called on by stakeholders and investors to be more aggressive, innovative and transparent in preventing climate risks. To meet this call, corporations are joining the Science-Based Target Initiative to strive for a 1.5°C future, recognizing they have a critical role to play in achieving a sustainable future.

In this chat, learn how 1.5°C is driving opportunity to lead in climate action. Engage with industry experts on how corporations are enacting science-based targets that align their business strategies and operations with a low-carbon future.
