(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) Oakland, CA - August 10, 2011 - The 2101 Webster Building, a 20-story office building located in Oakland, California and managed by the CIM Group, Inc., has been awarded Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED®-EB: O+M) Certified level of Certification by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). This certification recognizes that 2101 Webster has implemented continuous sustainability improvement measures guided by LEED-EB. Leonardo Academy was the LEED consultant for this project supporting this successful achievement.

Earned all five points for Water Efficiency credit 2 plus an additional point for regional priority

Achieved an ENERGY STAR score of 82, making them eligible for the ENERGY STAR Label

Earned four points for ongoing commissioning efforts and the implementation of energy use reduction strategies
