Course Length: 1.5 hours | Cost: $50 per person |  GBCI 1.5 hours | AIA/CES: 1.5 hours    Course Description This course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge they need to successfully earn the LEED-EB: O&M waste management prerequisite and credits (MRp2, MRc6, MRc7, MRc8, MRc9).  The course provides context regarding why waste management is important and introduces strategies for improving solid waste management.  This is followed by an in-depth look at the prerequisite and credit requirements and calculations, along with a step-by-step example of how to complete performance tracking. After taking this course, participants will be able to:
1.Discuss the importance of waste management for the environment, economy, and community
2.Understand how waste management fits into the LEED-EB rating system
3.Describe the procedure for conducting a waste audit
4.Understand the requirements for the waste management prerequisite and credits (MRp2 and MRc6, MRc7, MRc8, MRc9)
