CONTENT: Press Release

December 15, 2015 /3BL Media/ - GRI, architect of the world’s sustainability data, has announced a series of local roundtable meetings to support the professional development of North American sustainability reporters. The GOLD Roundtables will promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among local reporting organizations and empower them to generate better reports and to unlock new ways to use their sustainability data. GRI Gold Roundtables will have a maximum of 30 participants, who will meet quarterly in either of two locations: San Francisco and Atlanta.

Roundtable participants will work together to tackles issues related to four important reporting topics:

• Sustainability Context
• Materiality and Boundaries
• Stakeholder inclusiveness
• Supply Chain

“Sustainability reporters have shared with us that they are looking for ways to network and learn from others who share geographic, regulatory and cultural similarities,” said Alyson Genovese, GRI’s Head of Corporate & Stakeholder Relations in North America. “GRI is committed to advancing the quality of sustainability reports as well as helping companies use reports as strategic business tools. The GOLD Roundtables will help participants deepen their skills and knowledge.”

The GOLD Roundtables reflect GRI’s growing list of educational and support programming in the United States, including the upcoming “3BL Media Webinar to Discuss Trends and Best Practices in Sustainability Reporting” on Thursday, January 14 at 11 a.m. ET, a collaborative effort from GRI and Weber Shandwick.

The GOLD Roundtables are generously hosted by Prologis in San Francisco and the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business in Atlanta.
