The negative economic downpour of the past few years continues to inspire companies to carry around their ‘business umbrellas’, expecting the challenges of the past to rain down on them once again.  As a business sustainability consultant who believes in a sunny economic forecast, I advise clients to put those cost and risk mitigation strategies aside and focus on the value and growth opportunity of the brighter days ahead.

As we move into the latter half of 2010, analysts continue to forecast a top-line recovery across most industries.  As a sustainability consultant working directly with companies planning for business growth, our practice explores some basic business sustainability questions:
•    Are you restructuring and resourcing in reference to the past or for the future?
•    Are your business strategies focused on growth opportunities?
•    Is the company and its supply chain aligned with the expected changes in the market?
