Arrow Electronics Poland Employees Help Families Through Holiday Donations

Gdansk, Poland – Arrow Electronics employees in Gdansk, Poland, participated in the Noble Gift, a holiday campaign that provides aid to families in need nationwide. Through the campaign, the office sponsored a family for the holidays who lost everything in a fire, and gathered donations for their “wish list.” After raising the funds, employees shopped for and wrapped the items to be delivered to the family, which included clothing, kitchen items, a new stove, bedding, food and more.

“We were honored to participate in this special effort, which served as a great way for our team to connect, while helping to make a family’s holiday a little brighter,” said Kinga Chrapisinska, Arrow’s Business Service Center manager in Gdansk.

Organizers estimated that over 11,000 volunteers engaged in this year’s Noble Gift campaign, benefitting 16,700 families. Launched by the Poland-based nonprofit The Wiosna Association in 2001, the Noble Gift campaign has inspired over four million people to provide support to more than 170,000 families since its inception.
