Since radon is almost undetectable as a tasteless, odorless and colorless gas, it’s not something homeowners can easily monitor – and something all too easy to forget to test for.

Today, one in 15 homes in the U.S. have high radon levels, and January has become known as the National Radon Action Month to increase homeowner awareness.
