GRI North America Expands ESG/Sustainability Educational Offerings To Trade Associations
For the first half of 2023, GRI North America worked with several select Trade Associations in developing, implementing, and refining a model providing special access to professional development opportunities in the field of sustainability and ESG reporting through the GRI Academy. These member-only programs are tailored to each Association and their industry- and member- specific needs. Considerations such as GRI courses and certifications, promotion approaches, and pricing are developed to ensure awareness, ease of access and administration, and value.
After working with these Associations to gather learnings and best practices, GRI North America has begun reaching out more broadly to Associations whose focus aligns with the GRI Sector Standards and those that have direct involvement or affinity to the ESG/ Sustainability space.
Over the past two months 3 new programs are either in place or being finalized in industries as diverse as Accounting, Drilling, and Procurement. These new programs alone reach tens of thousands of members across 5 continents.
