(3BL Media / theCSRfeed) October 18, 2011 - It's often assumed that small firms lack the resources and capabilities to form proactive environmental solutions. But is that true?   

A new study set out to investigate whether or not small firms are taking the lead in reducing their environmental footprint and found that --- contrary to popular beliefs --- small firms do use a number of strategies for undertaking environmental initiatives. The study argues that small- to medium-sized businesses can use their unique position to take initiative on environmental issues.
