CNH Industrial N.V. (NYSE: CNHI/ MI: CNH), with its commercial vehicle brand IVECO and global powertrain brand FPT Industrial, in collaboration with the Salesian Institute "San Zeno" Launched the first TechPro2 (Technical Professional Program) program in Verona, Italy, focusing on training in mechanical industries.

TechPro2 is a global initiative that offers young people technical professional training with the aim of recruiting, training and hiring highly qualified personnel in the automotive, commercial vehicle and agricultural machinery sectors. The project saw the National Centre for Salesian Works - Training and Professional Update (CNOS-FAP) together with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and CNH Industrial, once again join forces in a project launched with the aim of offering local young people a high-level professional education and perspective.

CNH Industrial’s participation in TechPro2 dates back to 2011, with specific courses in the commercial vehicle sector, providing skills and training for program instructors (Train The Trainer). They also offered funds and most importantly tools for classrooms giving students something they can practice with. IVECO and FPT Industrial supplied equipment such as an IVECO Stralis truck equipped with an electronic diagnosis tool, a manual gearbox from an IVECO Daily Van, and FPT Industrial provided a N67 industrial engine for “on road” applications and a soundproofed generator that will both be used in the new laboratory. Thanks to this new set-up, the students will have the opportunity to expand their skills by learning about how to manage devices on commercial vehicles.

The Salesian San Zeno Institute in Verona is one of the main training centres in Italy. Since its inception in 1962, the Institute has constantly grown both in terms of the training it offers and in the quality of the laboratories made available to students, companies and local professionals. The Institute houses the Professional Training School, the Technical Technological Institute, as well as the Continuous and Higher Training for Companies and Professionals.
