 # Yum! Issues New CSR Report: ‘Serving The World’

LOUISVILLE, KY, April 3, 2013 /3BL Media/ – Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE:YUM), the world's largest restaurant company and parent of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, today announced the release of its online Corporate Social Responsibility Report titled: “Serving the World.” The complete, interactive report is available at [www.yum.com/csr](http://www.yum.com/csr).

“We are proud of the great strides our brands are making across the globe to be socially responsible companies,” said David Novak, Chairman and CEO, Yum! Brands, Inc. “Further, we’re excited about the strong commitments we are taking going forward, which we’ve highlighted in this year’s report.”

There are several changes in the presentation of information in the new report. First, goals and progress are organized around four strategic CSR pillars: Food, People, Community and Environment. Additionally, the online-only report features interactive content and video examples of the company’s CSR efforts in action.

Readers of the new CSR Report will be able to learn more about Yum!’s commitment to:

- **Food –** We serve high quality, delicious food that our customers can feel good about. To earn your trust, we follow the highest standards in the food industry – from sourcing to safety.

- **People –** This is a great place to work because we believe in all people. Everyone counts and is recognized for their contributions. As an employer of choice, we offer training and wellbeing programs to attract and retain top talent.

- **Community –** We have a huge heart and give back to our communities in different ways around the globe and together through World Hunger Relief. We encourage making a difference through local volunteerism.

- **Environment –** It’s our goal to be a green and responsible company because we care about the environment and want to leave it better for future generations.

Yum’s new CSR report provides a more comprehensive, global look at its efforts than ever before, as well as strives for increased transparency in the interest of its employees, customers and stakeholders. While the report was published biannually in the past, it will now be updated on an ongoing basis and reissued annually.
