##### Canadian Business as a Global Citizen

 Jun 23, 2011 5:01 PM ET

Campaign: [9th CBSR Summit on CSR](/node/14836) (3BL Media / theCSRfeed) June 23, 2011 - **Canadian Business as a Global Citizen: Social and Environmental Performance on the World Stage

How is corporate Canada perceived around the world? How do our initiatives influence our bottom line and have an impact outside our borders?**

Canadian companies operate abroad, our supply chains extend outside our borders, we contribute when disaster strikes overseas, and we have one of the most culturally diverse workforces in the world. How is our social and environmental performance measuring up globally, and what action is required for a sustainable future?

Join CBSR on Wednesday, October 26 for a must-attend day of peer networking and learning. Leadership panelists will provide interesting perspectives, inspiration and lively debate on the global role of Canadian business. And we will examine the flexibility and sensitivity required to operate from Canada and in unique local communities worldwide.

**Keynote Speaker: Stephen Lewis**

Distinguished Visiting Professor, Ryerson University

Celebrated Humanitarian and Former UN Special Envoy for

HIV/AIDS in Africa

This year we are structuring the day to offer a more flexible agenda and pricing. Join us for the lunchtime keynote and afternoon program, or come early for a morning workshop on related topics. We invite you to select the options that work for you.

**Register online by September 15th to take advantage of early bird registration savings.**

When: October 26, 2011 11:30 AM - 6:30 PM EST

Where: Hyatt Regency, 370 King St. West, Toronto, ON
