In celebration of International Women’s Day, themed [\#ChooseToChallenge](https://www.internationalwomensday.com/Theme), the Invesco Women’s Network (IWN) invited women from across Invesco to share their thoughts on the importance of celebrating women’s achievements and speaking up against gender bias and inequity.

Throughout the month, IWN chapters are hosting local events and the Global IWN Programming Committee hosted a virtual program on March 11 with Harriet Minter, a prominent UK-based journalist and speaker who specializes on the future of work, media and diversity. Harriet has given [two TED talks](http://harrietminter.com/speakingmedia-appearances) and appeared on the BBC and Sky News. The program focused on the disproportionate impact that Covid has had on women in the workplace and how to build and strengthen connections, while also ensuring you are "working from home vs. living at work."

The Invesco Women's Network seeks to create opportunities and forums for the development, networking and engagement of Invesco women. Our goal is to further the company's ability to attract, retain, develop and advance women at all levels and across all functions within the firm to ensure we have the diversity of talent and skills that benefit our clients and support the firm’s overall success.
