 # What Makes a Transformational or Sustainable Company?

(3BL Media) August 1, 2012 - CBSR is working with [Coro Strandberg](http://cbsr.ca/about-cbsr/our-team/coro-strandberg) to conduct research on the qualities of a transformational or sustainable company to further evolve our [CSR Continuum](http://cbsr.ca/sites/default/files/file/CBSR_Transformational_Framework_Approach%282%29.pdf) (see PDF).

**We are interested in your advice on the following:**  
  
1\) Examples of companies you think exemplify transformational or sustainable qualities.  
  
2\) Qualities or characteristics of a transformational or sustainable company (e.g. closed loop production processes)  
  
3\) Existing guidelines or standards for corporate sustainability leadership (e.g. [Ceres 21st Century Corporation Roadmap](http://www.ceres.org/company-network/ceres-roadmap/ceres-roadmap))  
  
Later in the fall we'll share our findings with you and seek your further input into a draft definition.
