Are you eco curious? Not really sure what green living means or what it's all about? You're not alone. A new [study](http://ecoamerica.typepad.com/blog/2010/10/sustainable-term-still-confusing-us-consumers.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+EcoamericaNewsBlog+%28EcoAmerica+News+Blog%29) by Technomic finds that the term "sustainable" is still confusing for U.S. consumers. Fortunately, the FTC's recent unveiling of its update to the [Guides for the Use of Environmental Marketing Claims](http://ftc.gov/bcp/grnrule/guides980427.htm) will clarify companies marketing messages around sustainable and eco friendly products; however, as the green landscape continues to evolve, doesn’t our definition of personal sustainability evolve as well?

Many living a sustainable lifestyle feel legislation and corporate messaging is behind the curve. What differentiates those walking the green walk is a mindset in which marketing claims aim to address. So, what is that mindset?
