The world’s largest company by revenue does not want to be a top source of greenhouse gas emissions. So [Walmart](http://fortune.com/fortune500/walmart/) last year launched Project Gigaton, aiming to reduce emissions related to its operations by a total of 1 billion tons by 2030.
