 # UPS Named to Dow Jones Sustainability Index for Eighth Year in a Row

(3BLMedia/theCSRfeed) **Atlanta, GA - October 01, 2010 -** For the eighth year in a row, UPS (NYSE:UPS) has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for North America, based on the company's economic, environmental and social practices. UPS ranked in the top 20% of corporations in the Industrial Goods and Services sector in North America and scored above the industry group's average in the three areas.

"UPS is pleased to once again be included in the DJSI," said Bob Stoffel, senior vice president, supply chain, strategy, engineering and sustainability. "We see this as recognition of our sustainability leadership and long-term commitment to transparency and of our efforts to balance the social, economic and environmental aspects of our business."
