 # Trane Technologies Introduces First Data Center Thermal Management Kits in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Forma

 

##### New reference kits simplify engineering, help reduce redesign risk, and help accelerate deployment for high-density AI factories and data center projects

 DAVIDSON, N.C., August 25, 2026 /3BL/ - Trane – by Trane Technologies (NYSE: TT), a global climate innovator, today announced further advancements in how complex AI and data center infrastructure is designed, engineered and built. Trane® Data Center Reference Kits are now available within [Autodesk® Revit®](https://www.autodesk.com/products/revit/) and [Autodesk Forma®](https://www.autodesk.com/company/autodesk-platform/aec), representing the first system-level data center thermal management reference kits across both platforms. Access to Trane’s thermal management reference designs within these industry-standard platforms for building design and early-stage planning will help project teams collaborate more seamlessly, reduce duplicate modeling, and support more efficient delivery across next-generation AI factories.

The new Reference Kits draw on Trane Technologies’ thermal management reference design work for large-scale AI and data center environments, including recent design optimizations and expanded [Trane Continuum Rubin DSX reference designs](https://www.trane.com/commercial/north-america/us/en/markets/data-centers/reference-design.html). Available within Autodesk workflows, they provide design, engineering and delivery teams with a shared set of project resources from early design through commissioning, helping reduce disconnected handoffs and supporting more coordinated model review, issue management and stakeholder alignment.
