For the sixth year in a row, Symantec has been named to Ethisphere’s [World’s Most Ethical Companies ](http://m1.ethisphere.com/wme2013/index.html)list. We consider this a great honor, and work hard every year to improve our processes and systems, and strengthen our culture of ethics and compliance, in order to maintain our position on this list.

But what does it really mean to be one of the world’s most ethical companies? Why is this distinction important?
