As our sustainability consulting takes pause to review the sustainable supply chain management progress in 2011, we find an on-going and growing emphasis on environmental awareness, social responsibility, and business sustainability actions within the supply chain. Beyond the usual headline makers, we have witnessed smaller and lesser known companies reevaluating inbound supply and their organization’s role in the overall supply chain from an expanded perspective. With much success in 2011, we now ask: what will the coming year bring?
