 # Senate to Move Forward on TSCA Reform Next Week

  Campaign:  [Chemical Regulations](/news/campaign/chemical-regulations) The version of the TSCA Reform bill (TSCA Modernization Act of 2015) currently[ pending the Senate’s vote](http://3blmedia.com/News/TSCA-Reform-Pending-Senate-Approval) was initially blocked from fast passage in the Senate due to Senator Rand Paul’s single objection. The Senate is now slated to continue consideration of the bill on June 6.  If disagreements continue, the bill may take up to two weeks to reach final passage. The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee is hopeful that that TSCA will move forward.  With its focus on expanding EPA authority for regulating hazardous chemicals, The TSCA Reform bill will force companies to reexamine their supply chains for newly regulated hazardous chemicals.
