EMERYVILLE, Calif., November 22, 2019 /3BL Media/ – SCS Global Services (SCS) is pleased to announce that it has added FSSC 22000 certification, a complete food safety management systems certification scheme, to its comprehensive suite of professional auditing, training and support services for the food industry. FSSC 22000 is benchmarked to the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is based on ISO 22000 and ISO 22002 standards, which provides global recognition and credibility. The robust framework addresses food safety risk management across the entire supply chain. Getting certified to this scheme is a valuable step in assuring a supply of safe food to retailers and consumers.
