 # SCA Proud Participant in New Research Study Highlighting Possible Hygiene Risks on Surfaces in Hospitals

Today is World Hand Hygiene Day, which is a campaign by the World Health Organization (WHO) to promote hand hygiene in health care settings. SCA has shared new research on the prevalence of bacteria found within patient surrounding. The results reinforce the need for healthcare workers to wash or sanitize their hands after the “fifth moment” of hand hygiene, which is after touching patient surrounding such as textiles and surfaces.
