The report provides an overview of Crest Nicholson’s business and discusses how its approach to sustainability delivers benefits for customers, local communities, employees and shareholders. It reports on progress against 50 targets and commitments, supported by case studies which illustrate the tangible positive impacts on local communities. From its inception, Crest Nicholson has remained at the forefront of the UK’s journey towards the UK Governments 2016 Timeline for ‘zero carbon’ homes. The report describes the progress made in researching cost-effective low-carbon solutions for the benefit of customers, along with delivering an outstanding customer experience, which has been recognised in its third annual five-star satisfaction rating, according to an independent assessment from the Home Builders Federation. Collaboration and Partnership are strong themes throughout the report, which describes how Crest Nicholson has strengthened links with customers, contractors, suppliers, and how its unique AIMC4 collaborative low carbon home research project is influencing the way Crest Nicholson operates.
