(3BL Media) May 23, 2012 - Ball Corporation (NYSE:BLL) today issued its third sustainability report, which presents the company's economic, social and environmental sustainability progress achieved during 2010 and 2011 and goals for the future. Ball established six corporate sustainability priorities that are covered in detail in the report: innovation, operations, talent management, recycling, supply chain and community.  
  
2010/2011 progress highlights include:

- Innovation: Developed processes to integrate recycled aluminum in slug manufacturing with ReAlTM technology breakthrough.
- Operations: Exceeded 10-year greenhouse gas emissions reduction goal of 16 percent by achieving 18 percent at the end of 2010.
- Talent Management: Deployed global process to identify best talent and develop individual growth plans.
- Recycling: Launched innovative recycling programs in the United Kingdom and France.
- Supply Chain: Achieved major supplier acceptance of Ball's Supplier Guiding Principles.
- Community: Established the Ball Foundation and developed a global community investment strategy.
