March 14, 2013 /3BL Media/ - Local CITGO Marketer Quality State Oil is in the final stretch of its annual Shamrocks Against Dystrophy fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which sponsors research and support programs for families coping with neuromuscular diseases. Quality State Oil has already raised $21,364 for the cause, and it’s aiming to beat last year’s record of $29,727 before the fundraising period ends on Sunday, March 17. The campaign allows customers to purchase green shamrocks for $1 and gold for $5, with all proceeds going directly to MDA. This year, all $5 shamrock will be autographed by Kate Gorman, the reigning Miss Wisconsin, and Reagan Imhoff, MDA Wisconsin Goodwill Ambassador. All who purchase a shamrock will also receive a “buy-one-get-one-free” coupon redeemable at their local Q Mart.
