[PYXERA Global](https://www.pyxeraglobal.org/) will lead two workshops at the [2017 Shared Value Leadership Summit](https://summit.sharedvalue.org/home) to advance partnership to solve complex global challenges this May 10. These workshops will hone in on two areas: how to effectively engage in partnership and post-harvest loss reduction. **Tri-Sector Partnership Workshop – Solving the Solvable** Deirdre White, CEO at PYXERA Global, and Matt Clark, Senior Global Engagement Manager at PYXERA Global, will lead the tri-sector partnership workshop. “It takes courage to forge a true partnership. It takes compromise. It takes respect for one another’s goals, experiences, knowledge, processes, and approaches. If you are a donor institution or an NGO, this requires understanding that a private sector partner has a goal—even an obligation—to drive business value and to ultimately derive profit from this work. And that is a valid goal, and should be embraced as part of the partnership,” said Deirdre White, CEO, PYXERA Global. The world’s most pressing challenges cannot be solved by one government, company, or non-profit organization alone. PYXERA Global’s [Tri-Sector Partnership Workshop](https://www.pyxeraglobal.org/tri-sector-partnership-training/) offers participants the tools and context needed to develop viable cross-sector (public, private, social) collaboration. By exploring these building blocks and then taking participants through a real-time simulation, the goal of this workshop is to help people move from traditional funder/implementer relationships to true partnerships built around co-creation and mutual, meaningful benefit. **Post-Harvest Loss – Collaboration for a Sustainable Supply Chain** One-third all fruits and vegetables grown in emerging and frontier are lost between the time of harvest and market. Issues of processing, production, and distribution plague food supply chains in Asia, Africa, and throughout the world, leading to costly inefficiencies that make potential new markets untenable. In order to generate solutions, actionable ideas, and collaboration, Soud Habbas, Chief Operating Officer, Katie Levey, Director of Media Relations and Kelsey Figone, Program Coordinator at PYXERA Global will lead a highly collaborative session at the Summit on solving post-harvest loss.
