 # Putting People First: Kids’ Meals Recognizes Baker Hughes as a 2025 Top Volunteer Group

Across our organization, volunteerism is one of the ways our teams turn values into action and drive meaningful, lasting progress in the communities where we live and work.

Around the world, our people contribute their time, skills, and energy through hands‑on volunteering, local partnerships, and community‑led initiatives - helping strengthen communities and support those who need it most. In our [2025 Corporate Sustainability Report](https://dam.bakerhughes.com/asset/f8a2afdb-8926-4aeb-9245-2597a7d95f2e/Sustainability-Report-2025-CSR.pdf), we highlight volunteer efforts taking place globally. In this article, we take a closer look at one partnership that is especially close to our hearts: [Kids’ Meals](https://kidsmealsinc.org/).

**Recognized for impact**

We’re proud to share that Kids’ Meals has recognized Baker Hughes as a **2025 Top Volunteer Group**, naming us among their *Top 50 Volunteer Groups* for the year. In 2025 alone, Baker Hughes employees contributed 229 volunteer hours in support of the organization’s mission to end childhood hunger.

**More than a donation: A van filled with hope**

In 2025, the Baker Hughes Foundation marked a major milestone in our partnership with Kids’ Meals by donating a new delivery van. To celebrate, Baker Hughes volunteers filled the van with over 1,000 freshly packed meals and donated more than 1,000 juice boxes, ensuring the van’s very first delivery was powered by our people.

The new van will support Kids’ Meals in delivering nutritious meals to families the Greater Houston area, helping the organization reach more children and families - changing mealtimes and lifetimes, one lunch at a time.

For 30 years, the Baker Hughes Foundation has been a steward of charitable resources for meaningful community impact.
