Over 750 fourth grade students from Sullivan County schools are attending the 13th annual Conservation Camp at Warriors Path State Park in Kingsport, Tennessee this week.

Newsarticle Body The camp is conducted by Keep Kingsport Beautiful and Eastman, along with other local supporters, who participate in the event to reinforce the importance of protecting and conserving natural resources.

This year, the Eastman team is educating students on the dangers of pollution in our lakes and rivers and how we are all responsible for protecting water quality and local eco-systems. Bethany Dietz, co-op in Eastman’s Environmental Affairs organization, is part of the Conservation Camp team.  Her message is simple, “There is no magical solution for removing pollution. Our job is easy; we should all do our part to protect the environment.”
