 # Preparing Kids for Success with Back to School Support

 

##### Comcast NBCUniversal supported several activities in the communities we serve to ensure more kids and teens have access to the tools they need to succeed.

Going back to school each fall can be a time filled with energy and optimism about the year to come. However, it can also mark a time of uncertainty for many children and families who have difficulty making ends meet. That’s why Comcast NBCUniversal supported several activities in the communities we serve to ensure more kids and teens have access to the tools they need to succeed – from NBC and Telemundo-owned stations "Supporting our Schools" campaign on-air to the Boys & Girls Clubs school supply drives on the ground. In addition, our commitment to making technology accessible to everyone reached a major milestone as Internet Essentials, our signature high-speed internet adoption program for low-income families, has now helped one million families connect to the internet at home.

We know there is more to be done, and we look forward to being part of the solution in helping children succeed in school all year long.
