[IVECO](https://www.iveco.com/uk/Pages/Home-Page.aspx), the commercial vehicles brand of [CNH Industrial](https://www.cnhindustrial.com/en-us/Pages/homepage.aspx), has embraced a Europe-wide motto of "Plant The Future". And the brand, as part of the German [PLANT-MY-TREE®](https://www.plant-my-tree.de/) initiative, will plant a tree for every new IVECO S-WAY NP gas-powered truck sold and for every IVECO Stralis natural gas version sold via the OK TRUCKS used division, in the Country in 2021.

PLANT-MY-TREE® carries out reforestation projects for CO2 compensation throughout Germany, with the aim of protecting the environment and climate. The size of the ‘IVECO forest’ in the city of Forchtenberg, in southern Germany, will ultimately be decided by the number of LNG and CNG trucks sold. IVECO is, however, committed to planting at least 1,000 trees, which should offset over 1,237 tonnes of CO2 over the next 99 years. The trees will include oaks and service trees – one of the rarest species of tree in Germany.

As a small acknowledgment, every buyer of one of the two models will receive a special tree certificate.

With more than 50,000 gas-powered vehicles sold, IVECO is the European market leader in alternative fuelled trucks.
