More than 51 nonprofit organizations received monetary funding and product donations to support community garden projects in neighborhoods throughout central Ohio. It was also a volunteer day for 60 ScottsMiracle-Gro associates who passed out 16,000+ bags of donated soil, mulch and fertilizer to the local garden groups. The event was held ahead of Earth Day to provide gardeners with the supplies they need to spend Earth Day working in their gardens.
