This is the sixth consecutive year that PG&E has been included in the 100 Best Corporate Citizens list. “At PG&E, our commitment to sustainability spans our ongoing work to strengthen our core operations and provide safe, reliable and affordable service, to our numerous initiatives in areas such as clean energy, workforce development, environmental stewardship and community engagement,” said Ezra Garrett, vice president of community relations and chief sustainability officer for PG&E. “Our placement on the 100 Best Corporate Citizens list demonstrates our ongoing commitment across these areas.” To identify the 100 Best Corporate Citizens, companies were evaluated on 298 data points of disclosure and performance in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance and philanthropy. Selected companies successfully demonstrated, through publicly available data, their robust efforts to drive disclosure, policy and performance in these categories. “The publication of CR Magazine’s 14th annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens list shines a spotlight on companies like PG&E with a strong commitment to transparency and responsible practices,” added Elliot Clark, CEO of CR Magazine. “Each year we are pleased to witness the growing commitment by corporations in an effort to improve their performance.” All data was collected and analyzed by [IW Financial](http://info.iwfinancial.com/), a Portland, Maine-based financial analysis firm serving the Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) investment community.
