##### Boeing employee, double amputee uses handcycle and positive attitude

Two laps.  
18 miles.  
All on a handcycle.

Jason Pak, an Arlington, Va.-based Boeing Government Operations employee, is a double amputee: He lost both legs, and a couple fingers, on Dec. 12, 2012, when he stepped on a land mine during his first deployment to Afghanistan. He’s also a cycling enthusiast who rides a handcycle in marathons and cycling events like the U.S. Air Force Association Cycling Classic.

This year’s event was June 14. Jason and his positive outlook on life were on hand at the start and the finish. Check out the video to see Jason’s story.
