 # One Planet Webinar: H&M on Sustainable Fashion

Each month Conservation organisation WWF is hosting a webinar, [One Planet Webinars](http://www.2degreesnetwork.com/calendar/event/wwf-one-planet-leaders-series-leading-together-hm-and-wwf-2013-5-23/), open for anybody to join. On **May 23 at 12.30-13.30 CEST/06.30-07.30 US EDT** Helena Helmersson, Head of Sustainability at H&M, enters the screen to talk about H&M´s efforts for a more sustainable fashion future.

The webinar is a great opportunity to learn more about the exciting and challenging task to continuously improve H&M’s sustainability performance. Helena Helmersson will among other things explain why sustainability is important to H&M, why H&M teamed up with WWF and what she expects from this extensive water partnership.

**WWF and H&M**

In January 2013 WWF and H&M announced a ground breaking water partnership for a unique holistic [strategy for water stewardship](http://about.hm.com/AboutSection/en/About/Sustainability/Commitments/Use-Resources-Responsibly/Water.html). The strategy is based on H&M´s long record of efforts in this area over the past ten years. In a three year partnership, we work together to put this new water strategy into practice and deliver real change along our entire value chain. According to WWF no other fashion company has such a comprehensive global water strategy.
