Together, we are strengthening the human-animal bond by giving rescue dogs a second chance and providing individuals with disabilities the support they need to thrive. **From Shelter to Service** Medical Mutts specializes in a unique approach: they don't just breed service dogs; they find them. By selecting dogs from shelters with the right temperament and potential, they transform "mutts" into highly skilled assistants for people living with invisible disabilities, including: - **Diabetes Alert:** Detecting high or low blood sugar levels. - **Seizure Alert:** Warning and assisting during medical episodes. - **PTSD Support:** Providing comfort and grounding for veterans and survivors. **How Elanco Supports the Mission** Healthy dogs are better learners. Elanco’s collaboration with Medical Mutts focuses on ensuring these canine heroes receive the best possible care during their intensive training process. Our work together includes: - **Sponsoring Indy’s Journey:** Elanco sponsored rescue dog Indy’s training and placement with Medical Mutts.
