Legg Mason was among fourteen Baltimore, Maryland, businesses recognized at the 41st Annual Mayor's Business Recognition Awards for their extensive partnership with [Boys Hope Girls Hope](http://www.bhghbaltimore.org/) (BHGH), an organization that helps academically capable and motivated young people meet their full potential by providing value-centered, family like homes, opportunities and a quality education through college.

The Legg Mason-BHGH relationship dates back to 2010 and includes support in a variety of impact-oriented areas, including board and committee leadership, corporate philanthropy, workforce pipeline development, next generation leadership development, collaborative community service, and formal and informal mentoring.

The annual awards event, hosted by the [Greater Baltimore Committee](https://gbc.org/), honors businesses for their outstanding corporate leadership, commitment to community and dedication to improving the quality of life in Baltimore City.
