As part of the campaign, [OneWest](http://www.onewestbank.com/holidaygiving) will donate 250 meals\[1\] for every qualifying checking account opened, in addition to providing a $250 cash back bonus for each customer.\[2\] Donations will benefit food banks serving Southern California, including areas impacted by the recent wildfires, and will go toward a broader company goal of donating one million meals this holiday season. “We’re pleased to help customers meet their financial objectives while giving back to the local community at the same time,” said CIT President of Consumer Banking Steve Solk. “OneWest is particularly grateful for the opportunity to support people in need and to help Southern California rebuild following the catastrophic fires that have impacted so many.” Participants can also follow the #GiveLikeYou hashtag on OneWest Bank’s Facebook page to cast their vote in support of Feeding America’s [Back Pack Program](https://www.feedingamerica.org/our-work/hunger-relief-programs/backpack-program), [Mobile Pantry Program](https://www.feedingamerica.org/our-work/hunger-relief-programs/mobile-food-pantry-program) and [Senior Grocery Program](https://www.feedingamerica.org/hunger-in-america/senior-hunger-facts). For every vote, OneWest will donate 10 meals to the program of choice. “We encourage customers, employees and others to participate through social media or by opening a new account in one of our local branches,” continued Solk.
