WASHINGTON, D.C., APRIL 1, 2014 /3BL Media/ - **Stan Litow,** President of the **IBM Foundation,** Leocadia I. Zak, Director of the **U.S. Trade and Development Agency**, and **Deirdre White,** CEO of **PYXERA Global,** will explore partnerships that each of their organizations has forged to effect real change and positive business impact. [**TUNE IN HERE**](https://bitly.com/catalyze14) on Monday, April 7 from 2 – 5, EST for this live-streamed conversation, Shared Value – Forging the Pathway to Partnership, at [the Public Private Partnership Forum](http://3blmedia.com/News/CSR/PYXERA-Global-Hosts-Public-Private-Partnership-Forum), moderated by Fortune Magazine’s Nina Easton.

There’s a lot of lofty talk these days about “creating shared value.” The topic is perpetually featured in business and leadership journals and across the spectrum of conferences. There is broad agreement that this is the way forward—the right approach for business, and for society at large.

While the theory is well developed and rapidly gaining popularity, details on the operational realities of shared value are lacking. There is no well-established roadmap that lays out the specific directions to mutual benefit, no manual to govern the myriad and complex partnerships required to drive shared value.

Private, public, and social sector entities struggle to identify the right partners, define the terms of the partnership, delineate roles and responsibilities, and identify objectives that are aligned with each partner’s core strategy and strengths.

Hosted by [PYXERA Global](http://www.pyxeraglobal.org), the Public Private Partnership Forum is a one-of-a-kind event that will actively engage the public, private, and social sectors in dialogue like never before. Broadcast live from the Newseum in Washington, D.C. on April 7 from 2 to 5 pm, EST, the Forum will examine how cross-sector interests converge to achieve shared value. Sponsored by The Dow Chemical Company and an important part of the [Catalyzing Growth in Emerging Markets Conference](http://3blmedia.com/News/CSR/PYXERA-Global-Announces-Catalyzing-Growth-Emerging-Markets), the Forum will be live-streamed from [pyxeraglobal.org](https://bitly.com/catalyze14).
