Hyundai America has won the Urban Car of the Year award for its 2012 Veloster car by the Emerging Diversity Education Fund and Decisive Media, sponsors of the Official Multicultural Event of the North American International Auto Show. Hyundai was also awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year honor for its Hyundai Hope on Wheels program. Hope on Wheels joins 800 Hyundai dealers to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer. Since 1998, the program has donated $43 million to fight the disease.
