  Campaign: [How2Recycle Label](/news/campaign/how2recycle-label)

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va., July 10, 2013 /3BL Media/ – GreenBlue’s Sustainable Packaging Coalition® (SPC) welcomes two new participants to the growing How2Recycle program: Ecologic Brands and CCF Brands.

CCF Brands, a consumer packaged goods company, provides industry-leading solutions in the production and consumption of eggs under its Great Day Farms label distributed at Walmart retail stores. CCF Brands has made an ongoing commitment to reduce waste in their food packaging and is using folding cartons produced with Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certified materials.

Fiber cartons will receive the “Widely Recycled” label, while the foam cartons will carry the “Check Locally” label to reflect the growing collection options for clean polystyrene.

[Ecologic Brands](http://www.ecologicbrands.com/ecobottle.html) is the producer of the eco.bottle®, the first paper bottle in the U.S. made of recycled cardboard boxes with an inner plastic pouch. Consumers will find the How2Recycle “Store Drop-off” label on the pouch, which is made of the same polyethylene (HDPE or LDPE) plastic as the bags and films accepted at 15,000 participating drop-off locations, including grocery and retail stores.

Ecologic Brands is the first company to receive a License Fee financial sponsorship, made possible through the generosity of the Flexible Film Recycling Group (FFRG) of the American Chemistry Council. Sponsorships remain available for companies using How2Recycle for plastic bags, wraps, and films. Examples of recyclable film packages and other online resources for consumers and businesses interested in film recycling are available at [http://www.plasticfilmrecycling.org](http://www.plasticfilmrecycling.org/).

“We’re very excited to be part the How2Recycle label initiative, thanks to the support of FFRG,” says Jack Wei, Marketing Director at Ecologic Brands. “Educating and empowering consumers will lead the way to improving recycling rates in the U.S.”

These companies join 13 brands currently participating in How2Recycle. Sample packages are featured in a How2Recycle [photo gallery](http://www.how2recycle.info/gallery/). How2Recycle’s goal is to appear on the majority of consumer goods packaging by 2016, and forward-thinking companies are encouraged to join the program.

Any company interested in joining How2Recycle or obtaining a sponsorship should visit <http://www.how2recycle.info/how2join/> for contact information and complete instructions.
