Hilton Worldwide has joined with Feeding America and The Global FoodBanking Network to reduce hunger in communities where it operates. The partnerships will allow Hilton hotels to collect surplus food from conferences, and daily food and beverage operations that would otherwise be thrown away and make it available to those in need. Feeding America and The Global FoodBanking Network will connect Hilton hotels with local food banks and their networks.
The Clorox Company has combined financial and ESG performance information in its annual report. The full report, available online includes key financial and corporate responsibility metrics in the same document. Clorox uses the Global Reporting Initiative’s G-3 guidelines, which provide indicators and a framework for reporting.
Intel is expanding its global commitment to education for girls and women. The company’s key engagement is with 10X10, a global action campaign that seeks to empower girls around the world. The campaign’s feature film tells the story of girl tackling impossible odds on the road to education.
