Bringing us towards a brighter future, [Heuliez Bus](https://www.heuliezbus.com/fr/fr) a commercial vehicle brand of [CNH Industrial](https://www.cnhindustrial.com/en-us/Pages/homepage.aspx) N.V. (NYSE: CNHI/ MI: CNHI) , has brought sustainability and innovation to the town of Groningen, The Netherlands in the form of a large-scale order for 49 units of fully-electric buses with on-board pantographs.

These buses will be operated in the north of The Netherlands where the largest electric fleet which was implemented in December 2019. The Q-link lines paired with Heuliez Bus GX 437 ELECs are connecting the largest cities in the region and while doing so, are giving the passengers a high level of comfort, including USB-connections between the seats, free WiFi and adapted climatization. The 18-meter electric buses can accommodate over 100 passengers.

The GX 437 full electric model is equipped with several innovative designs such as a 160/200 kW electric traction motor and with an energy and power Li-ion NMCG battery system (250 kWh), located on the roof and in tailgate of the vehicle. This unique battery package enables both “overnight” and “opportunity charging” which increases the daily range. This version can cover up to 120 km on a single charge and is compatible with fast-charging during the day to further extend the range, thanks to the on-board pantograph.

This delivery is further evidence of Heuliez Bus’ leadership and expertise in the field of electric buses and its commitment to increasing the sustainability of urban buses.
