Jana Morgan of Global Witness announced as speaker at the Global Conflict Minerals Symposium. The NGO investigates and campaigns to prevent natural resource related conflict and corruption, and associated environmental and human rights abuses. Their work ranges from high level lobby meetings to finding long-term systemic solutions at the global policy level.

This event, presented by the Conflict Minerals Consortium coincides with the 1-year anniversary of the Dodd-Frank Section 1502 Conflict Minerals Final Rule.

The invitation-only Symposium will provide senior corporate and compliance executives, regulatory officials from across the globe, leading academia and NGO officers with a forum to share their practical experience, insights, and vision for achieving conflict free sourcing practices globally with the implementation of effective regulations.
