Gildan proudly supports the communities in which we operate, often going well beyond simply creating employment in our facilities – towards driving our vision to make apparel better. Each year, Gildan organizes several employee volunteering activities enabling employees to get involved and contribute to the enrichment of their communities. For example, reforestation activities, improvements to schools’ infrastructure, as well as activities to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer.

The Gildan Glow Run has become one of the most popular volunteer activities¸ since the first marathon in 2013 held in Honduras. We then extended the race to our facilities in Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Through these events, we aim to encourage our employees and their families to engage in physical activity while contributing to the needs of their communities.
