ANANTH The busy KFC Restaurant on Avanashi Road was closed to customers from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on Saturday as special guests were having a fun-filled lunch. The guests were 32 girls of Saranalaya Home for the Prisoners’ Children. For them, it was the first visit to such a restaurant. “I have seen advertisements of such food. It is the first time I am getting a chance to have it,” says S. Sandhya (14), a Class IX student. Four-year-old B. Jothi had no words to explain the experience that her friends and she were having.
